Day 1 — Arrival
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport → Arusha
Your guide meets you at JRO. Arrival day is entirely for rest. The evening briefing maps all six days ahead — the parks, the cultural encounters, the accommodation, and the current wildlife conditions from the field.
Day 2 — Tarangire
Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast you head southwest toward Tarangire — approximately 2.5 hours. The afternoon game drive begins on arrival: elephant herds of dozens to hundreds moving beneath ancient baobabs toward the river, lions resting in the fever tree shade, and African wild dogs tracked using current field intelligence. The drive runs into the golden hour.
Day 3 — Cultural Day
Tarangire → Lake Manyara Area
A full morning game drive in Tarangire precedes the transfer to the Lake Manyara area. RYDER Signature positions this destination as a cultural hub rather than a game drive park — afternoon activities include village cultural tours, mountain biking through highland forest, a coffee or farm tour with tasting, or a canopy walk through the escarpment forest. Day 4 — Ngorongoro Crater
Lake Manyara Area → Full Crater Descent
An early departure from Karatu reaches the Lodoare Gate and begins the crater descent at first light. The full day unfolds on the caldera floor with a picnic lunch — lion prides in open ground, the black rhinoceros tracked with territorial knowledge, buffalo herds, flamingos on the soda lake. A picnic inside eliminates the midday return.
Day 5 — Into the Serengeti
Ngorongoro → Central Serengeti
The drive westward across the Conservation Area delivers Tanzania's great landscape transition — moorland and volcanic profiles giving way to the sweep of the Serengeti horizon at Naabi Hill Gate. An afternoon game drive begins immediately on arrival.
Day 6 — Full Serengeti
Full Day — Central Serengeti
A complete day in the Seronera zone across two game drives. Morning lion near kills, mid-morning leopard in the Seronera fig trees, afternoon cheetah on the open ground. A bush breakfast on the open plains and sundowner on a kopje complete the last full safari day.
Day 7 — Departure
Serengeti → JRO Departure
A final morning drive before the return to Kilimanjaro International Airport via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
