Licensing and Compliance
RYDER Signature is a fully licensed Tanzanian tour operator, registered with all relevant government authorities and an active member of TATO — the professional body that sets ethical and operational standards for Tanzania's tourism industry. Our Kenya programmes are operated through our Tanzania licence and a carefully built network of vetted local partners, held to the same standards our clients experience across all of our journeys.

We operate Kenya programmes through our Tanzania licence and established network of vetted local partners — guides, camps, and conservancies we have worked with directly over many years. Every Kenya itinerary is designed and managed personally by our team to the same standard as our Tanzania operations.
Kenya registration is in progress. We are transparent about this — our clients travel with confidence because our operational relationships and quality standards, not a paperwork status, determine the experience they have on the ground.
International Standards
AMREF Flying Doctors — Emergency Air Evacuation Partner
All RYDER Signature clients benefit from our AMREF Flying Doctors partnership throughout their journey — providing emergency air evacuation capability across Tanzania and Kenya, including in remote locations such as Katavi, Ruaha, and the Selous.
Key Information
These requirements apply to all RYDER Signature guests regardless of journey type.
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings is required for all RYDER Signature journeys without exception. We may request proof of adequate coverage before departure. Our Terms and Conditions detail minimum coverage requirements.
Guests are responsible for valid passports (6+ months beyond departure date), applicable visas, and required vaccination certificates including Yellow Fever where applicable. RYDER Signature provides guidance but cannot accept liability for denied entry or permit failures resulting from inadequate documentation.
Certain experiences — particularly Kilimanjaro expeditions and walking safaris — require appropriate physical fitness. Guests must disclose relevant medical conditions during booking. Medical clearance letters may be required for mountain climbs. Our team provides honest guidance on activity suitability.
Adventure travel involves inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated — wildlife encounters, remote locations, challenging terrain, and weather. By booking with RYDER Signature, guests acknowledge accepting reasonable risks associated with safari and outdoor activities as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
Policy Updates
Registered clients receive email notifications when significant policy changes occur. Our website always displays current versions with clear effective dates. Previous versions are available upon request for guests whose bookings predate any update.
Bookings confirmed before policy updates remain subject to the terms in effect at the time of confirmation. This protects the agreement you entered into. We will notify you in advance of any changes that may affect your existing booking.
