Half Day Sailing Excursion
For those who want more than an evening sail, a half day dhow excursion extends the same slow, wind powered pace across a longer stretch of coast, usually adding a stop to swim or snorkel along the way. It suits a relaxed morning or afternoon on the water rather than the tighter schedule of a marine park excursion.
Routes vary with the wind and tide, sometimes running toward the calmer water inside the marine park, sometimes further along the coast toward Mida Creek’s mangroves.
Extended sailing: several hours under sail rather than a short sunset run.
Swimming and snorkeling stop: most half day trips include time in the water partway through.
