Untamed Migration Camp is a mobile tented camp that follows the annual Great Migration across two seasonal locations within the Serengeti ecosystem. From July to November, the camp is established in the Kogatende area of the northern Serengeti positioning guests within striking distance of the Mara River crossings. From December to April, the camp relocates to the Ndutu plains of the southern Serengeti for the calving season. The ability to move allows Untamed to consistently offer guests a front-row position to the Migration’s most dramatic chapters, regardless of the time of year.
The camp offers comfortable, authentic tented accommodation with en-suite facilities, a full-board meal programme, and expert local guides who lead game drives in open 4×4 vehicles. The mobile format keeps costs lower than permanent luxury camps in the same areas, making it an accessible option for travellers who prioritise Migration access and authentic bush atmosphere over resort-style facilities.
Mobile tented rooms with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, private verandas, and solar lighting. Full-board including all meals, non-alcoholic drinks, and guided game drives.
In the northern Serengeti, the camp is accessed via Kogatende airstrip, approximately 1 hour 20 minutes by air from Arusha. In its southern (Ndutu) position, Ndutu or Kusini airstrip are the nearest access points. The camp team provides current season location and airstrip transfer details upon booking confirmation.
