Turaco Ngorongoro Valley is a Marriott Tribute Portfolio lodge that opened in March 2025, marking the first Tribute Portfolio property in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Set near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Karatu, the property combines contemporary design inspired by Maasai traditions with the reliability of the Marriott Bonvoy programme. The lodge is positioned just 10 minutes from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate, making it one of the most conveniently located bases for Crater descents in the region.
