Tarangire Sopa Lodge is an established full-service lodge inside Tarangire National Park, offering one of the most complete facility sets of any property in the park. Part of the Sopa Hotels and Lodges group, the property combines a central location for game viewing with a broad range of amenities that make it equally suited to families, first-time safari travellers, and those wanting a well-serviced base from which to explore the park over multiple days. Tarangire’s elephant herds, baobab landscapes, and 550+ bird species are accessible directly from the lodge.
The architecture uses stone and local materials in a style that complements the surrounding savannah. A swimming pool, restaurant, and bar with terrace views are the central communal spaces, and the team can organise morning, afternoon, and full-day game drives, as well as walking safaris within the park.

Charter flights from Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Kuro Airstrip inside Tarangire National Park take approximately 20 minutes. Road transfers from the airstrip to the lodge are available. The lodge is also within 2.5 hours by road from Kilimanjaro.
