Soroi Amboseli Camp is a luxury tented camp inside Amboseli National Park by Soroi Safaris, a Kenyan family-owned operation that prioritises personalised service and high guiding standards within a small, intimate camp setting. The Amboseli ecosystem is world-famous for its density of elephants and its unobstructed views of Kilimanjaro rising beyond the flat-bottomed wetlands two features that make it one of East Africa’s most rewarding wildlife photography destinations. Soroi’s camp is positioned to maximise both: early morning drives when elephants converge on the wetland edges against a Kilimanjaro silhouette are the defining daily experience.
A small selection of comfortable luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms, private verandas, and wildlife views provide an intimate, personal atmosphere where guests know their guides by name and meals are tailored to individual preferences. Game drives cover both Amboseli National Park and the broader ecosystem; guided walks, community visits, and cultural Maasai experiences complement the safari programme. Full board rates include all meals, drinks, and safari activities. The camp’s small scale means a maximum of a few groups sharing the landscape on any given day, enhancing the sense of privacy and encounter quality.
Amboseli Airport (ASV) is served by scheduled charter flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport (WIL), a journey of approximately 45–60 minutes. The camp arranges road transfers from the airstrip, which typically include a game drive en route to camp a superb introduction to the ecosystem. By road from Nairobi the journey takes approximately 4 hours on the A104 highway. Private charters from JKIA can be arranged directly to Amboseli.
