Heritage Mara Camp is a seasonal luxury bell-tent camp by Heritage Camps and Lodges, set in the Kogatende area of the northern Serengeti on a hilltop surrounded by large evergreen trees with sweeping views over the northern Serengeti plains. The camp sits approximately 20 minutes from the Mara River, placing guests within easy striking distance of the Great Migration river crossings that define this part of the Serengeti between July and November each year the camp’s operating season. The hilltop position allows for remote game viewing away from the main tourist routes.
The camp features a signature ‘colonial-style hunter’s camp’ atmosphere with beautiful bell tents that blend glamping comfort with authentic bush hospitality. Three-course meals are prepared and served by a resident chef. A Maasai warrior team provides traditional song and dance entertainment in the evenings. All tents are equipped with running water, flush toilets, hot and cold showers, and walkie-talkies for communication with camp staff throughout the day and night.

The camp is in the Kogatende area of the northern Serengeti, approximately 20 minutes from the Mara River. Kogatende airstrip is served by scheduled and charter flights from Arusha in approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. The camp team manages transfers from the airstrip.
