Untamed Migration is a mobile tented camp that moves twice a year to follow the Great Wildebeest Migration across the Serengeti ecosystem. In the calving season (approximately December to May) the camp is based in the Ndutu area for the extraordinary spectacle of thousands of wildebeest giving birth daily on the short grass plains. The camp then relocates north to the Mara River area for the dramatic river crossings of the dry season. This pursuit of the migration ensures guests are always positioned at the heart of the action.
The camp operates at a mid-range price point with functional tented accommodation, en-suite facilities, communal dining, and experienced guides who specialise in the migration ecosystem. It suits travellers who want genuine wilderness immersion and excellent wildlife access without the highest tier of luxury pricing.
Mobile safari tents with en-suite facilities, communal dining tent, bar area, and experienced migration guides. Camp moves between Ndutu (Dec–May) and Northern Serengeti (Jun–Nov).
Ndutu Airstrip is the closest airstrip for the southern Ndutu location. Charter flights from Arusha Airport operate regularly. When the camp moves north to the Mara River area, Kogatende Airstrip is used.
