Sisini Mara opened in May 2025 as the northern Serengeti complement to ENVI Lodges’ flagship Sisini property in the central Serengeti. Positioned near the Mara River in the Kogatende area, the camp is at the epicentre of the Great Migration’s most iconic moment — the dramatic wildebeest crossings of the Mara River that unfold between July and October each year. As a permanent camp offering the same philosophy of environmental responsibility and contemporary design as its sibling, Sisini Mara brings ENVI’s considered approach to one of the Serengeti’s most coveted wildlife destinations.
The camp accommodates guests in nine Nature Tents and a separate two-bedroom Retreat suite, with a communal pool, a serene spa tent, and a stylish lounge and bar as the social heart of the property. The ENVI design language — clean lines, natural materials, and an uncrowded intimacy — creates a genuinely calm environment from which to experience one of Africa’s greatest wildlife spectacles.
Nine Nature Tents with en-suite facilities and private outdoor spaces, plus The Retreat — a two-bedroom suite designed for families or groups seeking additional space and privacy. Communal pool, spa tent, restaurant, lounge and bar complete the facilities.
The camp is accessed via Kogatende airstrip in the northern Serengeti. Scheduled and charter flights connect Arusha with Kogatende in approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. From the airstrip it is a short road transfer to the camp. The Sisini team coordinates all transfers and can link onward connections to Sisini’s sister property in the central Serengeti.
