Singita Sabora Tented Camp sits eye-level with the open Grumeti plains on the 350,000-acre private Singita Grumeti Reserve, offering the most immersive and ground-level safari experience in the Singita portfolio. Designed in tribute to the romantic 1920s explorer camp aesthetic, Sabora’s nine canvas suites are decorated with Persian rugs, dark leather, aged wood, and Zanzibari antiques, yet the interior spirit is contemporary — light, calm, and resolutely focused on the wildlife drama visible from every tent.
Each suite is self-contained and private, with its own outdoor sala and daybeds for game watching, a private meditation deck, a personal fitness space, and an in-suite pantry stocked with gourmet delights from the signature Guest Deli. A freestanding bathtub and indoor/outdoor shower complete the picture. The camp’s singular swimming pool, spa with two treatment rooms, library, and intimate dining tents serve the nine suites. Being situated at ground level and unfenced, Sabora delivers a genuinely immersive safari — wildlife roams freely through and around the camp at all hours. Minimum age is 10 years.

Grumeti Air operates scheduled and charter flights from Arusha and Kilimanjaro to the Singita Sasakwa airstrip. From there, a 40-minute game drive through the reserve reaches Sabora Tented Camp on the open plains. Singita manages all transfers for guests flying via Grumeti Air.
