Singita Mara River Tented Camp is Singita’s most remote and intimate property, set in the northernmost reaches of the Serengeti National Park in the spectacular Lamai Triangle — where the Mara River forms a natural boundary with Kenya’s Maasai Mara. The camp is positioned within a 98,000-acre private Singita concession and offers exclusive access to this pristine corner of the greater Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, just minutes from the Mara River crossings that define the Great Migration’s most dramatic chapter.
The design is contemporary and Maasai-inspired, using clean lines, modular elements, and vibrant geometric textiles in a light, open, and unpretentious tented format quite distinct from the heavier luxury of Sasakwa or the botanical casualness of Faru Faru. With only six suites, the camp is exceptionally intimate and private. It operates entirely off the grid on a custom solar system, reinforcing Singita’s sustainability commitments. All-inclusive rates cover meals, drinks, game drives, guided walks, and conservation activities within the Singita Grumeti Reserve.
Six luxury tented suites in the Lamai Triangle, each with contemporary Maasai-inspired design, spacious en-suite bathroom, private deck with Mara River views, and air conditioning. The camp is solar-powered throughout.
Grumeti Air operates a scenic 15-minute flight from the Singita Sasakwa airstrip near the Grumeti Reserve to Lamai airstrip in the far northern Serengeti. Guests typically fly from Arusha or Kilimanjaro to Sasakwa and then connect via this short hop to Lamai. All transfers are handled by the Singita team throughout.
