Safari Haven operates two seasonal camps that follow the Great Migration Safari Haven Ndutu serves the calving season from December to May, and a separate Migration Camp serves the Northern Serengeti river-crossing season. The Ndutu camp is positioned in the south of the Serengeti ecosystem, where the short grass plains fill with birthing wildebeest each January and February in one of Africa’s most emotionally powerful wildlife events. Off-road driving is permitted within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area section of Ndutu, providing privileged access to wildlife that is otherwise impossible in the main park.
The camp offers comfortable mid-range safari tents with en-suite facilities, a restaurant and bar, and game drives led by knowledgeable guides. It is designed as a straightforward, honest operation that delivers genuine wildlife value at an accessible price point.
Safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, private verandas, and views of the Ndutu bush. The camp is positioned for optimal calving season access from December to May.
Ndutu Airstrip is the closest point of access. Charter flights from Arusha Airport take approximately 50 minutes. The camp can arrange transfers from the airstrip.
