Ol Pejeta House is an exclusive private safari house within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, offered on an exclusive-use basis for families and small groups seeking complete privacy within one of Kenya’s most conservation-significant landscapes. The conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and the last home of the two surviving northern white rhinos, as well as a chimpanzee sanctuary (housing orphaned and rescued chimps), and a rich habitat for lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and plains game. The house provides a genuinely private and immersive base for exploring this extraordinary wilderness at your own pace, with a dedicated safari vehicle, guide, and fully staffed team at your disposal.
The property features multiple en-suite bedrooms, spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, a swimming pool, garden, and dining space set up for private meals and events. A dedicated chef prepares meals to your preferences, using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Exclusive vehicle use means all game drives, night drives, and walks in the conservancy operate on your schedule — not a camp timetable. The northern white rhino sanctuary visit, chimpanzee sanctuary, black rhino tracking, and Ol Pejeta’s extraordinary conservation stories are all accessible to house guests as part of the experience.
Laikipia is reached by a 40–60 minute charter flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport (WIL) to Nanyuki Airport (NYK) or a private airstrip on or near the conservancy. SafariLink and Air Kenya both serve the Nanyuki route. The camp arranges transfers from the airstrip. By road from Nairobi the journey takes 3–4 hours via the A2 highway north through Nanyuki.
