Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge is a TWC (Tanganyika Wilderness Camps) property in the central Serengeti, on the slopes of a hill with sweeping views of the plains and easy access to the legendary Maasai Kopjes, Seronera River, and Grumeti River. Twenty-five luxury tents on raised wooden platforms are built in a modern African style that combines the classic aesthetic of canvas safari camping with contemporary comforts: thatch roofs, outdoor showers, bathtubs, private terraces with savannah panoramas, and en-suite bathrooms with quality fittings throughout.
The main building sits on a raised deck overlooking the plains and serves as the hub for dining and evening gatherings. An infinity pool allows wildlife-watching from the water’s edge. The migration passes close to camp on its annual circuit, and the Seronera River below provides permanent water that keeps resident game in the area year-round. The camp suits a wide range of travellers and is particularly well-regarded for families and those who value honest, well-run safari accommodation at a competitive price relative to the area’s ultra-premium options.
Twenty-five tents on raised wooden platforms: standard double/twin tents and two interconnecting family tents. All en-suite with outdoor shower and private terrace.
Seronera Airstrip is 80km from the camp — approximately 30–35 minutes by road. Scheduled and charter flights from Arusha Airport (ARK), Manyara Airstrip, and Zanzibar serve Seronera. The camp arranges all ground transfers.
