ENVI Paje is a luxury wellness beachfront lodge on Paje Beach by ENVI Lodges, opening June 2026. The third ENVI property in Tanzania, ENVI Paje is designed around the brand’s Signature Wellbeing Philosophy a fusion of African medicinal traditions, natural botanics, and regenerative science in a setting that allows guests to reconnect with the Indian Ocean’s rhythms rather than imposing a structured itinerary. The lodge is built on Zanzibar’s famous east coast beach at Paje, world-renowned for consistent trade winds, flat-water lagoon conditions, and exceptional kitesurfing. Guests can arrive at the ocean’s edge with ambitions ranging from high-performance kitesurfing coaching to restorative stillness under baobab trees.
Twenty-two spacious private villas, each blending sustainable natural materials with Zanzibar’s craftsmanship traditions, are arranged along the beachfront and garden with private terraces and uninterrupted ocean views. The Signature Ocean Villas provide the premium experience with semi-outdoor private pools and direct Indian Ocean panoramas. The Sanctuary wellness facility offers rituals using baobab, coconut, cloves, lemongrass, and other indigenous ingredients, alongside science-based therapies including hyperbaric oxygen, red light, cold plunge, and IV therapy. A beachfront pool, restaurant, and garden communal area complete the guest facilities.
Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) is approximately 40km from Paje on Zanzibar’s southeast coast, roughly a 1-hour drive. The property arranges airport transfers. Daily flights connect Zanzibar with Dar es Salaam (approx. 20 min), Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, and Mombasa.
